Offended Advertising Company CEO sent a Coffin

Jakarta - Amalia, Adwork CEO of Euro RSCG, an advertising company, was offended when receiving a shipment of coffins Sumardy. Marketing strategies by sending a coffin really do not deserve to be a joke.

"Sending the casket was an insult, it is not feasible to be a joke," said Amalia upset, while talking to AFP on Monday (05/06/2011).

Amalia said, kind of word of mouth marketing has become a new thing in Indonesia. To use it, one who engaged in the marketing world should know the many aspects including its local culture.

"Word of mouth must be positive, but this is actually a negative reaction. And this will backfire for himself. Later when the product appears, people will not want to buy it," said Amalia.
