Boeing 737 crashes in the Arctic, 12 killed

Montreal - First Boeing 737 owned by Air crashed in the Arctic region, Arctic, Canada. About 12 people were killed and three others injured.

A total of 15 people on the plane, four of them crew. Location of the aircraft crashed a few miles from Resolute Bay, Arctic, Nunavut region, Canada on Saturday (20 / 8), before 13.00 local time, as reported by AFP on Sunday (08/21/2011).

The plane was taking the route from Yellowknife to Resolute Bay in a fall. According to emergency services military headquarters Trenton, Ontario, Canada, the medics quickly arrived on the scene to evacuate casualties.

"The investigators we are currently working there. The black box was found," said a spokesman for Transportation Safety Board of Canada, Chris Krepski who declined to speculate about the cause of the accident.
